I know like no other how it feels when your body is locked. No one could help me. I had truly tried everything.
I know this so well, because I stood there myself. For years. And I was deeply ashamed, cause nobody knew.
I was a director in the famous television world. Flying around the globe. Earning incredibly well. In a dream relationship of 13 years. A life that looked perfect on paper. But in my body? Cold. Closed. And Pain! My energy leaked away into work, performing, always pushing on.
My solution? An extra glass of wine. Compensating and Ignoring it. Living harder. Another project. Another distraction. Million friends and social activities. Anything but pausing to listen to what my body was trying to tell me.
Then came the big bang. 2011. I lost everything I lived for. In one blow. And I had to choose: keep falling, or feel through it.
I chose to feel through it. And my body began to open.
I traveled the world. I dove into psychology, tantra, meditation, shamanism, kundalini yoga, breathwork, somatic movement, hypnotherapy, masculine and feminine polarities, NLP. I became a certified therapist and intimacy expert. But above all: I gave my own body the attention she had not received for far too long.
And when it really seemed impossible, when everyone told me I had to accept it; I healed myself. From the big C., burnout and along the way an autoimmune disease too. Against all odds.
My body is my Magic. Every single day.
